DiCEworld S.r.l. (hereinafter also “DiCEworld S.r.l.” or “Data Controller”), with registered office in Via della Guastalla n° 5, 20122 Milan, Italy, as Data Controller, recognises the importance of maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personal data and, pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GPDR”), informs you that the personal data that you have communicated through the Web Site www.diceworld.com, will be processed in compliance with current European and national legislation on privacy.
1. Type and source of data
Browsing Data
During their normal operation, the IT systems and procedures, as well as the features and functions responsible for the proper functioning of the Website, acquire certain data referring to the User whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols. These data are not gathered for association with identified subjects, but by their very nature, when processed or associated with data held by third parties, they might allow users to be identified. This category includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check that it is functioning correctly.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
DiCEworld collects and processes personal data that you directly and knowingly provide through the Website when you place an order to purchase products online, when you subscribe to the Website and/or the newsletter service, and/or when you make a request via our form in the “Contact Us” section.
Such data includes “common” data, for example, but not limited to first and last name, email address, telephone number, user id and password of Interested Parties who have registered on the Site etc.
Credit card details (including credit card numbers and other payment information) are provided to our payment service providers who further process the payment details. DiCEworld does not store or retain credit card data or use it directly.
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of electronic mail through the Website and/or to the addresses indicated on the Website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message sent.
2. Purpose of data processing and legal basis
Personal data will be used for the following purposes:
a) to answer and satisfy any of your requests and therefore to manage the relationship between you and the Data Controller (e.g., to contact you for information);
b) to follow up on your online purchase order and therefore to carry out all order management activities (including administrative-accounting management of the contract, product shipment, payment management, etc.);
c) to fulfil all obligations imposed by applicable laws and regulations;
d) for direct marketing purposes: subject to your explicit consent, to send you emails with information and promotional communications (newsletters), advertising material, catalogues and invitations to events, relating to products and services;
e) for the transfer to third parties: subject to your explicit consent, the Company will transfer your personal data to Partner Companies of DiCEworld S.r.l., belonging to the following product categories (distribution and marketing services, electricity, natural gas, marketing and promotion of environmentally sustainable products and devices for energy saving) for autonomous information and promotional communications relating to services and products offered;
f) if necessary, to ascertain, exercise or defend the rights of the Data Controller in court.
For the purposes described above, the legal basis legitimising the processing resides for points a) and b) in the need to have the personal data available for the performance of the contract with the data subject, or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the same, ex art. 6 lett. b) GDPR. With regard to the purpose referred to in point c), the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject pursuant to art. 6 lett. c) GDPR. For the purposes of marketing and transfer to third parties, referred to in points d) and e), processing is lawful only if and to the extent that the data subject has given consent to the processing of his/her personal data for the specific purpose (art. 6 lett. a) GDPR). For the purpose referred to in point f), the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, pursuant to art. 6 lett f) GDPR.
3. Processing methods
Personal data shall be processed by means of suitable electronic or otherwise automated, computerised and telematic tools, or by manual processing on paper, with logics strictly related to the purposes for which the personal data were collected and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.
4. Nature of consent
The provision of your personal data is optional. However, if you wish to register and/or place a purchase order on the Website, and/or receive product information via newsletter and/or phone calls, and/or contact us, refusal to provide it may make it impossible for the Data Controller to proceed with the activities described. You may at any time object to the processing, or modify or revoke your consent, without prejudice to the effects produced up to that moment, by writing by mail to DiCEworld S.r.l., Via della Guastalla n° 5, 20122 Milan or by contacting the Data Controller or the DPO at privacy@diceworld.it and dpo@diceworld.it.
5. Communication and dissemination of data
Controllers, who belong to the following categories:
- companies, consultants and professional firms that provide assistance and/or consultancy services, or that perform, on behalf of the Data Controller, services related and instrumental to the purposes of data processing (e.g., service providers, forwarding agents, technicians who perform maintenance of computer services);
- with your explicit consent, companies that the Data Controller may use for the implementation and/or management of promotional campaigns for its products and services;
- with your explicit consent, third party partners of DiCEworld, belonging to the following product categories (distribution and marketing services, electricity, natural gas, marketing and promotion of eco-sustainable products and energy saving devices) for independent information and promotional communications relating to the services and products offered.
Personal data will be processed by internal staff of the Data Controller, trained and authorised to process them in the context of carrying out their assigned work duties.
Your personal data will not be transferred abroad to countries outside the European Union and will in no case be disclosed to unspecified parties.
6. Treatment duration
Your personal data, to the extent necessary and/or instrumental to the performance of the aforementioned purposes, may be processed on behalf of DiCEworld by external parties acting as Data Processors or Autonomous Data
Your personal data shall be processed and stored for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with the retention periods provided for by applicable law or, where appropriate, until you revoke your consent through the channels indicated in the Information Notice.
At the end of the storage period, DiCEworld will irreversibly delete or make anonymous any personal data relating to its customers used for the activities described.
7. Rights of the data subject
We remind you that you may at any time exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, in particular, request information on the existence and characteristics of the processing of your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing and/or request transmission of your personal data to another Data Controller.
You will also have the right to revoke your consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation, and to submit a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
